Nordstrom's Pop-In: De Soleil

A French day at the beach inspired website

"De Soleil" was a website I helped make while working for Nordstrom. What I liked most about this website was the unique header. It was a big navigation carousel which, when clicked, would seamlessly transition in the content.

A little feature about that transition is the <svg> blob like shapes in the corners — they animate and morph to melt into the corners, which helps with transitional intent.

Like the other Pop-In websites it was short lived. But you can see a video of the functionality above.
